Timing
For some, trying to figure out the best time to have a baby shower is very tidious and complicated. Hosting the baby shower about 2 months before the baby is due is normally a good rule of thumb. Its a good idea to have the baby shower two months prior to the delivery date because the mother to be will be past her second trimester were most complications arise if any.
Post Pregnancy Baby Shower
In a lot of cases parent are choosing to wait until the baby is born to have their baby showers. Although it is not as traditional as having the baby shower before the baby is born, this is great because not only does it helps the parents, it is also great for friends and family because they get to celebrate and see the baby all at the same time. It can also help reduce the likelihood of getting presents that may be too small, too large, or the wrong gender altogether. Baby Showers after the baby is born is normally held about two months after the birth of the baby in order to give the parents time to adjust to the new lifestyles and schedule as well as giving the new baby time to initially build up their immune system. Places for these types of baby showers can be anywhere from parks, restaurants or a home. These types of showers is also great for those parents who do not wish to know the baby's gender in advance.
